2025: Supreme Court Who is the next Chief Justice?
The current Chief Justice of India, B. R. Gavai, has mentioned the name of Justice Suryakant for the post of Chief Justice of India.
Justice “BR Gavai” has already sent a recommendation letter to the Union Law Ministry regarding this.
Justice Surya Kant will be the 53rd Chief Justice of the Supreme Court after the current Chief Justice of the Supreme Court “BR Gavai”.
It is learned that the next Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Surya Kant, will assume his duties from November 23.
and will serve until February 27, 2027.
Justice Suryakant is a resident of Haryana.
He was appointed as a judge of the Supreme Court in May 2019 and will retire in 2027. Before that, he is going to be appointed as the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
