Earthquake tremors felt in Virudhunagar district of Tamil Nadu.
Virudhunagar District:- A mild earthquake tremor was felt in Virudhunagar district of Tamil Nadu at exactly 9.06 pm on Thursday night. The earthquake measured 3.0 on the Richter scale.
According to a Times of India report, many people came out of their homes in panic. The tremors of the earthquake were felt lightly in Srivilliputhur, Sivakasi, and Sattur areas of Virudhunagar district.
Local residents in the area reported feeling the tremors.
The collector of Virudhunagar district has warned the people and requested them not to panic. No damage has been reported due to the tremors so far.
