2026:New steps by the Center on petrol from April 1!
The central government is on the verge of introducing new rules on petrol across the country from April 1 . What new rules are being introduced, what are the new rules, let’s know in detail.
According to a report in Anandabazar Patrika, the central government, as per the demand of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, can produce ethanol from sugarcane, corn, and other grains.It is completely pure, in other words, our domestically produced petrol. This ethanol is considered much better than regular petrol because it has very little or no pollution.
From April 1, the oil sold in various states and union territories of the country will contain 20% ethanol and the sale of petrol with RON 95 will be mandatory.
Ethanol is made from sugarcane, corn or other crops. It is produced in a domestic way. This domestically produced ethanol will be less polluting than pure petrol. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government calls this domestically produced ethanol a low-pollution fuel.
This ethanol produced from sugarcane, corn, and other crops helps reduce pollution. And if such steps can be taken, farmers will benefit. The more sugarcane and corn are in demand, the more farmers will produce them.This will benefit the farmers of the country and will bring the environment under control and reduce pollution.
