The list of seven high-speed rail corridors across the country has been released in the Budget speech in Parliament. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced the list.
According to a report by Anandabazar.com, a list of seven high-speed rail corridors has been published considering the future.The Mumbai-Pune corridor is at the top of this list, followed by Pune-Hyderabad, Hyderabad-Bengaluru, Hyderabad-Chennai, Chennai-Bengaluru, Delhi-Varanasi.And the last corridor is from Varanasi to Siliguri, the main city of West Bengal.
Freight corridor will also be formed. Through this new freight corridor, Dankuni, the city of Hooghly in West Bengal, will be connected to Surat in Gujarat.
These seven rail corridors are going to connect the developing cities of India with each other.
