26:West Bengal CM greets BNPchief with flowers,sweets!

BNP chief Tarique Rahman is set to become the next Prime Minister of Bangladesh after winning a landslide victory in the popular vote.Since the announcement of the post of Prime Minister, congratulatory messages have been received from various countries. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself tweeted a congratulatory message to Tarique Rahman.

According to a report in Hindustan Times, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee tweeted her congratulations to the future Prime Minister of Bangladesh.She posted a message on social media for Tarique Rahman. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said in her post – she first conveyed her ‘good wishes’ to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh.
He then wrote, “My heartfelt congratulations to all the brothers and sisters of Bangladesh, and to all the people of Bangladesh.” He also sent his best wishes for the upcoming Ramadan.

Then, he first congratulated Tarique Rahman, who won by a huge margin in Bangladesh, on his victory and wished his party and other parties well.

However, before the West Bengal Chief Minister, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself sent a congratulatory message to Bangladeshi Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. The Prime Minister himself tweeted :- I extend my warmest congratulations to Tarique Rahman for leading the BNP to a decisive victory in the Bangladesh elections.This victory is a testament to the confidence of the people of Bangladesh under your leadership. India has always been and will always be for a democratic, progressive Bangladesh. Our country looks forward to working with you in the days to come.
