According to a Hindustan Timesreport, Mir Yar Baloch has sent a letter from Balochistan to the Indian Foreign Minister, according to the report. Mir Yar Baloch is a human rights activist and Baloch leader from Balochistan.
Mir’s letter contains several statements about China and Pakistan. The letter begins with a New Year greeting to India, including its parliament and civil society.The letter then details the historical, cultural, economic, commercial, and other ties between India and Balochistan.
According to the report, Mir writes: “Balochistan has been enduring Pakistan’s state occupation, state-sponsored terrorism and atrocities for the past 79 years.For the sake of peace of our nation, it is necessary to strengthen the capacity of the Balochistan Defense and Liberation Forces to establish lasting peace. Mir also expressed concern about the ‘China-Pakistan Economic Corridor’.
He said that China, with the help of Pakistan, could deploy its army in Balochistan within a few months.The presence of Chinese forces on Balochistan soil without the consent of 60 million Baloch people could create a challenging situation for both India and Balochistan.
