The scooter, which was popular across the country in the 80s and 90s, is now making a comeback as a modern electric vehicle. Bajaj has officially announced that it will launch a new scooter in the market in 2026.Meanwhile, according to vehicle registration data, Chetak has been selected as the best electric scooter in India in October 2025.

- (1)Bajaj Chetak Series 30:- The Chetak Series 30 has a starting price of Rs 99,900 (ex-showroom) and is equipped with a 3 kWh battery, which will give a maximum range of 127 km and a maximum speed of 63 km per charge.It will take only 3 hours and 50 minutes to charge to 80%.
- (2) Bajaj Chetak Series 35:- Starting price is Rs. 1,02,500 (ex-showroom) | It has a 3.5 kWh battery and will offer a maximum range of 153 km and a top speed of 73 km/h.
Both the scooters have a full metal body, which gives the vehicle a premium look. Bajaj has already set up 390 exclusive Chetak stores and 4,000 sales points in 800 cities.
