How much will this project cost?
It is learnt that a budget of Rs 16,000 crore has been earmarked for this project. The entire amount of this money will come from the central government. The state government will be responsible for identifying specific land and handling all the work at the local level.
According to experts, once this bridge is completed, it is expected to bring about a major change in the communication system in South Bengal.
