Heavy rains have submerged several areas of Kolkata. Power supply has been cut off in low-lying areas due to rising water levels.
Kolkata situation:- Extreme misery in Kolkata on the eve of Puja. Second, third, all-day rain, the entire city has crossed the record limit in rainfall. Due to continuous rainfall, several areas in Kolkata have been flooded.

The danger level is almost at the top. On the one hand, the water level is rising, on the other hand, several areas of Kolkata are without electricity. Several people have already died due to electrocution, so the power supply has been stopped to avoid accidents.
Residents of Kolkata – Behala Chowrasta, Behala Pathakpara Road, Baghajatin, Kidderpur DH Road, these areas have complained about power outages.
Power outages have been reported in various areas of Kolkata on Tuesday night. For example, Tollygunge, Park Street, College Street, these areas have been affected by power outages.
The water level in the low-lying areas of Kolkata rises excessively. There is a sensor installed in each junction box, water reaches this sensor, and therefore the power supply is stopped.
The locals were informed about this in advance. But as millions of residents are without electricity, they are not getting any water or electricity, due to which the locals are facing various problems.
