Microsoft to invest Rs 4 lakh crore in India.
Very soon Microsoft has made a big announcement to invest 4 lakh crores which is 50 billion dollars in US currency in India. A few days ago, the AI Impact Summit 2026 was held in India. Microsoft Vice Chairman and President Brad Smith was present at the Summit. He said that Microsoft’s work is to build state-of-the-art data centers.
According to a report by Aajtak Bangla, currently AIA benefits are not reaching equally across the world, especially in regions like India, Africa, and Latin America.
India is a major market for AI infrastructure expansion in these regions. Microsoft plans to build state-of-the-art data centers.For this, 50 billion will be invested in India by 2030.
However, Microsoft’s rival Google is not far behind in this competition. Coming to India’s AI submission, Google CEO Sundar Pichai said – 15 billion will be invested in the next five years.And a large part of this 15 billion investment will be used to build data centers. This will benefit not only India but also India’s neighboring countries.
