According to Indiahood report, two nurses have been admitted to a private hospital in Barasat, West Bengal on suspicion of Nipah virus infection. Their samples have been sent to Kalyani AIMS for testing.
According to the report, one of the two nurses is a resident of Katwa in East Burdwan and the other is a resident of Nadia. Both of them worked at Barasat Medical. Both of them are undergoing treatment in Burdwan.
