Public buses :will be low-floor from Octo..2026 for passenger convenience!

Keeping in mind the convenience of passengers, ground clearance, i.e. low-floor buses, are going to be introduced from October 2026.According to a report in the Times of India, these low-floor buses will be kept up to 440 meters to make them passenger-friendly. The construction of these buses has already started.

An official said that all the buses that ply across the country have high steps, narrow bus doors, weak bus handles and narrow seats.This causes suffering to the common people. Senior citizens, women, disabled people and children are especially affected. Although low-floor buses have been introduced in many cities, most cities do not have them.
