Alipore Meteorological Department has issued a warning in the southern districts of West Bengal.According to the warning, the southern districts of Nadia, Bankura, Birbhum, Purulia, are likely to have temperatures between 11 degrees and 13 degrees Celsius. Besides, the temperature in Kolkata will be between 14 and 15 degrees.
According to the Meteorological Department, a new western cyclone is entering India. This western cyclone is active in the northwest of India and the ‘Westerly Jet Stream’ is flowing over northeast India.Therefore, it is known that the winter atmosphere will still prevail in West Bengal due to the influence of these two.
Let’s now know what the temperature will be like in the northern districts of West Bengal. It is reported that the mercury in the northern districts will be between 9 and 11 degrees Celsius today and Sunday. Cold and fog will prevail.Warnings have been issued in Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Alipurduar and Cooch Behar districts. In addition, the temperature is likely to remain between 15 and 16 degrees Celsius in the remaining districts such as Malda and North and South Dinajpur districts.Overall, it can be said that winter weather is prevailing across West Bengal.
