The Meteorological Department has informed that a cyclonic circulation has formed over Uttar Pradesh and adjoining Bihar. This cyclone has formed over the Bay of Bengal,A large amount of water vapor is rising from the Bay of Bengal and this water vapor is entering the land.
West Bengal is in full swing preparing for the “Sharad festival”. However, the rain seems to be a constant presence in the preparations for “Durga Puja”. Sometimes it rains, sometimes it shines, and the weather is unpredictable.
So many people are having trouble marketing for Puja. In the midst of all this, Puja work is going on, preparations, people are shopping, shops are crowded, everything. But the rain will not stop now, the weather department has issued a warning.
This is why there is heavy rain in some districts of “North Bengal”. Light to moderate rain is being experienced in “South Bengal”.
However, this rain will not subside immediately, the Meteorological Office has issued a warning, there is a possibility of thunderstorms in almost all the districts in South Bengal, including Kolkata.

Yellow alert issued for districts of South Bengal: East and West Burdwan, Bankura, Birbhum, Murshidabad, Purulia, North and South 24 Parganas, Dum Dum, Nadia
Winds gusting to 30 to 40 kmph are likely in these districts. Scattered rain is likely in some districts of South Bengal from Saturday to Tuesday.
There is a possibility of heavy rainfall in the districts of North Bengal. For example: Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Kalimpong, Cooch Behar, Alipurduar. These districts may experience heavy rainfall.
