Scattered heavy rains are likely to occur in South Bengal in the next 48 hours. Gusty winds are likely to blow at a speed of about 30 to 40 kmph in coastal districts. Fishermen have been warned not to venture into the sea due to this cyclone.

This heavy rainfall is likely to ease from Thursday to Friday, with rainfall expected to decrease significantly by Friday.
